Carmelo Kiyan Anthony was born on May 29, 1984. Anthony was born in the Red Hook Projects in Brooklyn N.Y. He plays for the Denver Nuggets along with Allen Iverson. Anthony was selected with the third pick in the 2003 NBA Draft and was named the 2005 Rookie Challenge MVP.
Anthony believed that sports were a way to stay out of trouble and stay away from drugs. Anthony looks back on his life and knows that if it wasnt for sports and friends he would be no where.
